Hi, I'm Kelby!
I am a University of Denver student majoring in English with a focus in education. I am also pursuing a writing minor. I am originally from southern Illinois, where my family lives with our fourteen dogs and twelve head of horses. I am a second year Junior at DU and will be studying abroad in the fall at the University of Berlin. I currently work at Brio as a hostess and I also a volunteer at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley. In my (little) free time I like to hike, rock climb, camp, horseback ride, water ski, and backroad.

This writing portfolio was designed to reflect the work done for the writing minor program at the University of Denver. The pages are named based on the categories of the program. The "Introduction" page contains writing from the introduction category of the minor and the pieces all come from the Introduction to Theories of Writing course. The page "Applied" contains writing from the applied category of the writing minor and all of the pieces come from the Introduction to Creative Writing course. The "Theory" page contains writing form the theory, history, and research in writing category of the minor and all of the pieces come from the Topics in writing Theory and Research The "Other Works" page contains works from major classes and common curriculum classes. The "Analysis" page contains works from the capstone category of the writing minor and the writing comes from the Writing Design and Circulation course. The "Revision" page features the revision assignment done for the Writing Design and Circulation course.
